Bra Size Calculator: How to Calculate Your Bra Size at Home (Pakistan Guide)
Bra Size Calculator
Enter your measurements in inches to find your size instantly
If you've ever bought a bra online and had it arrive too tight, too loose, or just wrong, you already know why a reliable bra size calculator matters. Most women in Pakistan are wearing the wrong bra size without realizing it — usually because they're guessing instead of measuring. Use the calculator above to get an instant size estimate, or follow the step-by-step method below to calculate your bra size manually in under two minutes.
This guide covers everything: how to measure bra size at home, how to read the results in inches, a full band-to-cup size chart, and answers to the questions we get asked most often at Omi Beauty.
How to Check Bra Size at Home in 3 Steps
You don't need a fitting room to get an accurate size — just a soft measuring tape and two minutes. Wear a lightly padded or non-padded bra while measuring for the most accurate result.
- Measure your band (underbust): Wrap the tape snugly around your ribcage, directly under your bust, keeping it parallel to the floor. Exhale gently and note the number in inches.
- Measure your bust (fullest point): Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level and not too tight.
- Find the difference: Subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement. This difference determines your cup size.
How to Calculate Bra Size: The Formula
Once you have both numbers, here's exactly how to calculate bra size manually:
Band size = round your underbust measurement to the nearest whole number. If it's even, add 4. If it's odd, add 5.
Cup size = the difference between bust and band measurement, matched to a letter (see chart below).
Example: underbust = 31", bust = 36". Band size = 31 rounds to 31 (odd) → 31+5 = 36. Bust–band difference = 5" → D cup. Estimated size: 36D.
Cup Size Chart (Bust–Band Difference)
| Difference (Bust − Band) | Cup Size |
|---|---|
| 1 inch | A |
| 2 inches | B |
| 3 inches | C |
| 4 inches | D |
| 5 inches | DD / E |
| 6 inches | DDD / F |

Common Measuring Mistakes to Avoid
- Measuring over a thick or padded bra, which inflates the bust number
- Pulling the tape too tight around the band — it should be snug, not compressing
- Measuring while standing unnaturally straight or hunched, which skews results
- Not re-measuring after weight change, pregnancy, or breastfeeding

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I calculate my bra size in inches?
Measure your band (underbust) and bust (fullest point) in inches, then subtract band from bust. The difference tells you your cup size; the band measurement (rounded, +4 or +5) gives your band size.
What is a bra size calculator?
A bra size calculator is a tool that converts your band and bust measurements into a standard bra size (like 36D) using a simple formula, so you don't have to calculate it by hand.
Is this bra size calculator accurate for Pakistan sizing?
Yes — it uses the standard inch-based method common across Pakistani and South Asian retailers. Sizes are shown in the widely used US/UK-style format (e.g., 34B, 36D).
How often should I re-check my bra size?
Every 6–12 months, or after any significant weight change, pregnancy, or breastfeeding, since band and cup size can shift.
What if my calculated size isn't available?
Round to the nearest available size and check individual product descriptions — some styles run slightly small or large depending on fabric and cut.
